EASYJET GETS FLEXIBLE
IN respoNse to the Government’s ‘traffic light’ system for travel, easyJet is allowing passengers to alter flights up to two hours before departure without a change fee. This only applies to flights departing on dates before september 30, and there are no restrictions on fresh dates within this time or destinations. If the new fare is higher you must pay the difference. The airline is also offering travel insurance that includes Covid-19 cover, available at the time of booking (easyjet.com).
QATAR AIRWAYS OFFER
QATAr Airways is offering special business class fares if you book by Monday for selected flights departing up until April 30, 2022. Destinations include Cape Town, singapore, Tokyo and the Maldives, via Doha from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and edinburgh (t.co/mGZqr2iVG4).
FINNAIR ACCEPTS JABS
FroM Tuesday, Finnair will accept a vaccination certificate as an alternative to a negative Covid-19 test for flights to Finland. The vaccine must have been administered at least 21 days before travel. The scandinavian carrier flies to Helsinki from Gatwick, Manchester and edinburgh (finnair.com).
ESCAPE TO UMBRIA
BrITIsH Airways will launch a summer service from Heathrow to the Italian city of perugia on June 28. Flights are three times a week with fares from £47 one way. six miles from the airport, Castello di Monterone has 18 rooms set in a restored castle, from £95 B&B (ba.com, castellomonterone.com).
STOBART AIR EXPANDS
DUBLIN-BAseD stobart Air will start thrice-weekly flights between Belfast and Newquay on June 28 with fares from £34.99 one way. A second route connecting exeter and Dublin will follow on August 30, operating four times a week with fares from £39.99 one way (stobartair.com).

JeT2.CoM has increased its services to Iceland. routes are available from nine UK airports with the earliest departure from Manchester on september 2. A wide choice of flights is also available from Birmingham and Newcastle and will run until late April 2022 (jet2.com).
FREE SAFARI FLIGHTS
WILDerNess safaris is offering a Free Flying Deal that provides three complimentary regional flights to guests who book six nights in selected camps in Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia.
