Alternative vote
THE reason why the SNP continues to do so well in elections is really quite simple.
All across Britain disgruntled Labour voters have written off the party. In England they have turned to the Conservatives.
However, in Scotland many voters who have given up on Labour cannot bring themselves to vote Tory so they give their vote to the SNP or the Greens.
I cannot see the political landscape in Scotland changing in the near
future but when faced with a referendum, I still think they will vote solidly to remain in the United Kingdom.
