MUSICAL MOVIE Riverdance: The Animated Adventure, 6pm, Sky Premiere

THE Irish music and dance phenomenon is given an animated makeover. A thrill for family audiences, it follows Irish lad Keegan and his Spanish friend Moya into a mythical world. The voice cast includes Pierce Brosnan and there’s a new song by singer Lyra.

Amazon have turned that book into a slick series, in which the graduating class of Carp compete in a terrifying contest with one rule — don’t panic — and a cash prize for the victors to start a new life.

GRAND FINAL Best Baker In America, 8pm, Food Network

IT’S the finale, and Jean-Francois looks like the man to beat. He won both challenges last week, and swaggers in tonight with a seemingly unbeatable confidence. Lasheeda and Adam both look cool under pressure too, though . . .

CARTOON LAUGHS The Simpsons, 8pm, Sky One

WE HAD Benedict Cumberbatc­h two weeks ago, and now, Stephen Fry lends his dulcet tones to a new episode of the animation. In an experience the loquacious polymath described as ‘marvellous’, Fry recorded his role as the head of MI5 from home, during lockdown.

WINDY CITY DRAMA Chicago Med/Fire/PD, 8pm/9pm/10pm, Sky Witness

ALL three Chicago dramas conclude tonight, and all will be returning for new seasons. There are big developmen­ts for the medics at 8pm, as Ethan, Dean and Will all face the consequenc­es of past actions, and April and Natalie both reach turning points.

DEVILISH DRAMA Lucifer, Netflix

WE left the Devil-in-LA drama on a twist: the appearance of God himself, played by 24’s Dennis Haysbert. Can the Almighty sort out the problems of Lucifer (Tom Ellis, pictured) and the other warring celestials as the series returns?

HOLLYWOOD COMEDY The Kominsky Method, Netlfix

NETFLIX’S sleeper hit of a comedy, starring Michael Douglas as acting coach Sandy Kominsky, begins its final season without Alan Arkin as Sandy’s agent.

DYLAN ON TOUR Don’t Look Back, 9pm, BBC4

D. A. PENNEBAKER’S classic documentar­y follows Bob Dylan on his 1965 tour of England. The constantly smoking singer creates waves wherever he goes, and there are strange moments — notably a couple of combative exchanges with journalist­s — in this candid portrait.

MAVERICK DETECTIVE Ice Cold Murders: Rocco Schiavone, 9pm, More4

A PRISON murder forces the everreluct­ant Schiavone (Marco Giallini) from his office. The case involves organised crime and is compelling enough, but it’s the character details that keep you watching this Italian drama: Schiavone has a guitar version of Ode To Joy as his ringtone, for instance.

CULT BAND King Rocker, 9pm, Sky Arts

POST-PUNK band Nightingal­es formed in Birmingham in 1979, and are still about. They were championed by John Peel but have never taken off, so what has kept them going? Stewart Lee meets their driving force, Robert Lloyd, and digs into the subject with enthusiasm for this documentar­y.
