AER Lingus will resume flights between Bristol and Dublin tomorrow, operating five days a week with single fares from £39.99 (aerlingus.com). Fully vaccinated people can visit Ireland without tests or quarantine.

BA SALE

BRITISH Airways has reduced flight prices in September to many beach destinatio­ns including Portugal, Greece, Barbados and Antigua (ba. com/sale). Fares start at £30 one way to Menorca, Lanzarote and Pula in Croatia. Book by August 3 for Europe and August 9 for the Caribbean.

MORE MADEIRA

JET2.COM is increasing its services to green-listed Madeira in autumn. Extra flights will operate from Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds Bradford in September and October when the island is still sunny. Flights are also available from six other UK airports (jet2.com, visitmadei­ra.pt).

TUI TAKES OFF

TUI has restarted flights to amber-list destinatio­ns including Cyprus, Morocco, La Palma, Jamaica and St Lucia. Croatia follows next week but holidays to Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic will not run before September 4 (tui.co.uk).

HEATHROW PRIZES

HEATHROW Airport is celebratin­g 75 years as a commercial airport with a Come Fly Again campaign offering free flights, meals and travel gifts as prizes. Entrants need to say who they would most like to meet up with and why (heathrow. com/comeflyaga­in).

LEARN AS YOU FLY

CHILDREN flying with easyJet can now enjoy interactiv­e stories that encourage them to learn foreign languages including French, Spanish and Italian. Two books in the Mizzi Mozzi series can be downloaded for free before take-off using a seatback QR code. ‘Holiday Helpers’ will also be on hand at Gatwick to assist families (easyjet.com, mizzimozzi.com).
