Blackburn eye deal for Hedges
BLACKBURN ROVERS are plotting a move for Aberdeen midfielder Ryan Hedges. The Welsh international scooped Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year honours last season despite missing ten weeks with a pectoral muscle injury. Entering the final year of his contract, the 26-year-old has yet to begin talks over a new deal. Short of ready funds, Rovers boss Tony Mowbray is prepared to wait until January when the former Barnsley player enters the final six months and becomes free to talk to other clubs about a pre-contract agreement.
