DUNCAN HOLDING OFF ON TURNING PROFESSIONAL

LOUISE DUNCAN will resist turning professional for at least another season. The West Kilbride golfer, 21, wants to compete as an amateur at the Women’s Amateur at Augusta National and the US Open next year. She said: ‘I’m going to stay amateur for at least another year because I want to play the Augusta Women’s Amateur and the US Open as an amateur so I know what to expect if I do choose to go pro.’
