Government paper published this week demonstrates one of the key issues over the vaccine passports set to be introduced by the end of the month: they don’t know how to define a nightclub. Are we surprised? This time last year, they were struggling over what a café was. Now they are so disorganised that one SNP backbencher was Googling the definition of a nightclub in the chamber the other day. Perhaps Googling ‘what is a competent government?’ might be a better start.
