COMEDY fans are in for a treat – but Alex ‘Eck’ Salmond might not be laughing.
The former first minister is set to appear in the new series of satirical puppet show Spitting Image as the movie ogre Shrek.
An image of the cartoon take on the current Alba Party leader has been released by the team behind the BritBox show, which returns for a second series today.
Mr Salmond is a new face alongside former Tory chancellor and current Health Secretary Sajid Javid. The Spitting Image Twitter account posted: ‘1 day to go until #SpittingImage returns, along with a few new faces.’
