JOE Biden appeared to forget the name of his Australian counterpart, referring instead to ‘that fellow Down Under’.
The President was unveiling the AUKUS alliance between Britain, the US and Australia with Scott Morrison on one screen and Boris Johnson on another. And in his latest gaffe, the 78-year-old began with ‘Thank you, Boris, and...’ followed by an awkward pause.
He continued: ‘I want to thank that fella Down Under. Thank you very much pal.’
