CLINT EASTWOOD’S excellent western recycles his ‘man with no name’ persona, lending him an ever more mystical status. Given the title ‘Preacher’, Eastwood (who also directs) rides into town on a pale horse; there, he is persuaded to help miners to overcome an unscrupulous rival.
