CRATE EXPECTATIONS

-

A young couple were

walking past our door, When one of them stopped and said: ‘What’s that for?’ I told them that it was

called a milk crate, Left out for the milkman

who was rarely late! They could not believe

such a thing still existed, We told them we were pleased deliveries persisted. Then they went on their way looking quite bemused Probably thinking those people are old and confused. We have had that small crate for 50 years, just think, For us it’s part of our life to enjoy the milkman’s clink!
