Yours for £99,000, this bright, spacious, exciting fixer-upper in sought-after area*

-

SOME buyers may think twice after being told a house is unsafe for viewing.

But it is clear why the warning is needed for this £99,000 ‘exciting’ fixer-upper.

The house, in Drumchapel, Glasgow, is surrounded by overgrown gardens but the real horror is within, as revealed by promotional photos on Rightmove. There are holes in the ceilings, mould on the walls and the ‘bright and spacious’ living room’s floor is covered by clothes and rubbish.

The property is being sold via National Property Auctions, which describes it as a ‘two-bedroom end terrace in a highly sought-after Old Drumchapel location offering excellent development potential’.

Every surface in the kitchen and bathroom is covered in detritus, with the bathroom sink brimming with soiled toiletries.

The advert continues: ‘The house is uninhabitable, non mortgageable, sold as seen and unsafe for viewings.’

The online auction ends on January 27.

*Or rather that’s how the estate agent describes it!
