LEICESTER STAR MAN VARDY OUT OF ACTION UNTIL MARCH

BRENDAN RODGERS has revealed Jamie Vardy will miss up to eight weeks in a huge blow to injury-hit Leicester, while Jonny Evans is out for three months. Rodgers, who believes he may have as few as eight outfield players for today’s FA Cup clash with Watford, said: ‘The injury was in the higher part of Jamie’s hamstring, so you are looking at March for him. He does not need an operation — that was the only good news.’
