So wrong on Omicron

NICOLA Sturgeon simply got it wrong. The SNP reaction to Omicron has been way over the top, and Scots have suffered badly as a result. Shops, restaurants, theatres, football, the general public, the list is long.

Instead of admitting this, the SNP is trying to spin a way out. This is indefensible. Governments often get it wrong but passing the buck is not on.

Is she simply going to claim her advice was correct at the time – in which case how come England had better guidance? If she was wrong this time, just how many of her other decisions are ill advised too? Time to own up.
