SUTHERLAND INDISCIPLINE MAY COST HIM SCOTS SPOT

-

SCOTLAND prop Rory Sutherland has done his Six Nations chances no favours after being sent off just two minutes into Worcester Warriors’ league match against Bath. Sutherland wanted to make a big impression as it was his first game back since picking up a leg injury against Wasps on December 4 — but not in this manner. The British and Irish Lion was red-carded for a high and dangerous tackle on prop Will Stuart. He faces a lengthy ban if found guilty by a disciplinary panel and Gregor Townsend will be reluctant to pick a player who may be suspended for the first few Six Nations matches. Pierre Schoeman and Oli Kebble will be available to fill in but Sutherland is an important player and will be missed.
