End for Boris Johnson or is it time to move on?

-

ensured I shall not be voting at the next General Election.

P. MARSTON, Walsall, W. Mids.

BORIS put his health at risk to run this country. As far as I’m concerned, he can have as many parties as he likes. I will do as he says and not as he does. Can you imagine what the country would be like if it was run by the Corbynistas?

W.S. AL-OZDI, Bournemouth, Dorset.

AT FIRST, I was as annoyed as everyone else about the Downing Street parties. I had to miss my brother’s funeral because of travel restrictions. But I’ve had time to think about this issue more objectively. The rest of Whitehall worked from home, but the No 10 staff could not. How different was Partygate from ‘workplace events’ at other offices and factories?

GERALD KIMBER, Lymington, Hants.

HOW much longer is this fiasco over events that happened 20 months ago going to continue? The Government and Opposition are in a state of paralysis. While in no way attempting to mitigate what took place, for which the Prime Minister has repeatedly apologised, he is not personally responsible for those who died of Covid.

DENNIS FISHER, Leeds.

WHAT a sorry sight we beheld at Parliament on Monday: the Prime Minister apologising for behaviour

that occurred at No 10. Boris Johnson has accomplished so much for our country and has suffered with Covid. But now I think that however sincere his words, his actions have spoken louder and it may be time for a change of leadership.

SYLVIA GILBERT, Salisbury, Wilts. ‘GOOd afternoon, Mr Putin. I’m sorry Prime Minister Johnson can’t speak to you today as he is in the House of Commons answering accusations of breaking Covid regulations. ‘Perhaps he could phone you another day regarding what he thinks you should do in Ukraine.’

P. BRANDON, Budleigh Salterton, Devon.
