I’m in rehab for substance abuse, Kate’s sister reveals

- Daily Mail Reporter

KATE Moss’s younger halfsister Lottie has revealed she has checked into rehab.

The 24-year-old has previously spoken about her struggles with substance abuse and anxiety.

Miss Moss, who is also a model, revealed on social media platform TikTok that she was undergoing treatment.

She uploaded a video earlier this week with text written on it which read: ‘When everyone’s glamorising droog taking but you’re literally in r3h4b.’

The spelling mistakes are likely to be intentional to ensure her post is not removed by the site as it has strict policies around the promotion or portrayal of alcohol, drugs or other controlled substances.

She captioned the post: ‘I think I took euphoria too literally.’

The message is in reference to HBO’s TV series Euphoria – which stars Zendaya and follows a group of party-loving, drug-taking high-school students.

In another post, Miss Moss mimed to a voiceover about wanting a cigarette with the caption: ‘The staff at r3h4b when I go outside for the 10000th time to $mok3.’ Miss Moss, who is close to her half-sister, Kate, 48, has previously spoken about her battle with substances. She wrote on Instagram

in 2020: ‘I have never been happier mentally, I’ve struggled a lot in the last few years with myself and anxiety and other things.

‘Right now is the first time I have ever put myself first and actually worked on myself to make sure I get the best out of my life and am actually feeling like the best and truest version of myself!

‘And I love her! My struggles have caused me to act out of character and ultimately I think I was becoming a person that I didn’t really like which is why I numbed myself with substances and put myself down through neglect of my mental health and my general health.

‘Going down that road made it very hard for me to get out, I was surrounding myself with people who were a similar mental state to me and I can see now that was not helping.’

She went on to add: ‘Manifest good things and good things will comeback! (sic)’

‘I’m ready to be better for my family friends and for me! And I hope others take this time to self reflect and figure out who and where you want to be in life.’
