Don’t miss your new look weekend

-

The way millions of us watch television has changed forever – and so has Britain’s biggest and best TV magazine.

From today, in addition to all your usual listings including six giant pages for each day’s viewing, Weekend now includes a definitive 10-page guide to the best On Demand shows.

Every week our critics will pick out what’s REALLY worth watching on BBC iPlayer, Netflix, Amazon Prime and all the other streaming platforms.

Today they’ve selected a total of 100 mustsee shows while we also explain how to access everything from ITV Hub to Apple TV to Disney+.

Many of the On Demand picks are brand new programmes. Others are hidden gems you might have missed or TV classics suddenly available again.

No other newspaper or listing magazines has properly embraced TV’s incredible streaming revolution. Now the Mail has – and the aim is to put an end to that all-too-familiar cry: we’ve got loads of channels but can’t find anything to watch!

And that’s not the only improvement you’ll find in Weekend today.

There’s a sharply-observed new TV column by none other than Sarah Vine. Don’t miss her typically colourful verdict on Suranne Jones’s performance in the new series of Gentleman Jack.

We’ve added an extra puzzle page to give us room to make everything bigger and easier to read and fill-in.

And, of course, we’ve got all your old favourite too – Monty Don’s gardening column, Oscar Cainer’s stars, Jaci Stephen’s Soapwatch and the best food and wine. This week James Martin’s Easter feast – with wine-pairing tips from Matthew Jukes - looks truly scrumptious.

As ever, Weekend has the best celebrity interviews; today Holly Willoughby opens up about suffering imposter syndrome and the crippling shyness that blighted her childhood while Chris Tarrant admits he’d be cancelled now for many of the things he said during his 50 years on TV. Weekend magazine is now better than ever every Saturday. Make sure you never miss a copy.

There’ll never be nothing worth watching on TV again!
