DOESN’T Rihanna, pictured right, look magnificent in this month’s Vogue, all bare pregnant belly and elegant chains, a defiant stance against the staid frumpiness of so many maternity ranges?

My only question is, where did she find the energy? Most women have reached the ‘hand me the ginger biscuits and a bottle of Gaviscon’ phase by this stage of pregnancy.

The idea of getting trussed up in designer duds and gallivanting around under hot lights for hours would be about as appealing as root canal surgery. Celebs, eh? Not ‘just like us’ after all.
