Anas and Jackie pedal the Labour message
IT seems like a novel way to make a splash with voters ahead of next month’s local elections.
Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar and his deputy, Jackie Baillie, took to the waters of Loch Lomond in a pedalo yesterday.
The pair were photographed as they took part in campaigning at Loch Lomond Shores near Balloch, Dunbartonshire.
After his day in the sun, Mr Sarwar posted snaps of his activities, including an encounter with Orla the golden eagle from the Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre.
Alongside the pictures, he wrote: ‘While some politicians peddle fear and division, we’re pedalling towards change.’
Labour supporters will be hoping he is not just peddling slogans.
