CULTURE-CLASH MOVIE I Love America, Prime Video

SOPHIE MARCEAU (pictured with Djanis Bouzyani and Colin Woodell) has a Cesar (a French Oscar), two children and a long film career under her belt. She’s definitely a woman who has lived, and brings some of that experience to this lively change-of-life comedy in which Lisa, a mother of grown-up children, swaps Paris for Los Angeles — and finds a vibrant new dating life. There are the moments you’d expect, such as awkward app encounters, but also some moving surprises and a refreshing attitude towards age.
