Oops! Mary Beard’s brush with porn site

IT’S not just Tory MPs who unwittingly end up viewing pornography online. Even high-minded BBC Arts presenter Dame Mary Beard admits to being caught out.

While Neil Parish was looking for tractors, Professor Beard was searching for works by 16th century Venetian painter Titian. ‘This is not meant as a support for Mr Parish,’ says the 67-year-old Cambridge classicist. ‘But I have ended up on a porn site after searching for Titian’s Caesar portraits. A shock and I left pronto.’
