Uri Geller thanks isle rat catchers
URI Geller has thanked volunteers for capturing a rat on his small Scottish island.
The celebrity spoonbender, pictured, bought The Lamb, in the Firth of Forth, for £30,000 in 2009. Rodent activity was detected in 2020, sparking fears for seabirds, but the male rat evaded capture for almost two years. Volunteers from the Lothian Sea Kayak Club, supported by experts at the Scottish Seabird Centre in North Berwick, finally captured it.
A grateful Mr Geller, 75, said: ‘Thank you very much, a big hug and good positive energy from me to them.’
