Fishy tale of octopus besotted with pirate
Captain Constantine Cutlass,
the pirate, Sailed the Seven Seas. He loved his life as
a buccaneer, And he did just as he pleased.
Pandora pirate was one of
his crew, A real box of tricks was she, And although she couldn’t
sew or cook, She could sing
quite beautifully.
Her voice drifted over
the oceans, Travelling on breezes
and gales. It charmed great creatures
from the depths, Sharks and dolphins
and whales.
One fateful day, she sang a song And — blow me down — a
giant octopus appeared. ’Twas colossal with eight
writhing tentacles, Even Captain Cutlass
was afeared!
He shouted ‘Prepare all the cannons, me hearties,
We’ll blast this beast out of
the sea!’ But Pandora, on the deck,
stood defiant, And said: ‘Leave the octopus
to me!’
Singing softly, she reached it
in a small boat, And the octopus began to
be calm. She stroked the huge
tentacled creature And shook hands with each of
its arms.
Pandora and the octopus
became best friends, Their love seemed destined
to be. And if you believe this
fishy tale, Then you’ve obviously never
been to sea!
