Windfall tax

IT MAKES sense for power companies such as BP and British Gas to be clobbered with a windfall tax to help those struggling financially.

I don’t have a problem with BP spending £18billion this year on green energy if this is independently monitored.

What would not be acceptable is for BP to pay lip service to green energy while increasing the pay of its executives and shareholder dividends.
