Putin may bump me off says Musk
ELON Musk found himself in hot water with his mother yesterday after joking about being killed by Russian forces.
The world’s richest man was threatened by the head of Russia’s space agency over his attempts to provide Ukraine with internet service but chose to make light of it.
Mr Musk, 50, has been using Starlink – a constellation of more than 2,000 satellites in low Earth orbit – to beam internet connections to dishes around the world, including in Ukraine.
Dmitry Rogozin, the head of Roscosmos, said: ‘Elon Musk is involved with supplying the fascist forces in Ukraine with military communications. And for this you will have to answer in an adult way, Elon.’ The billionaire responded with: ‘If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin’ ya.’
That lead to a ticking-off from former supermodel Maye Musk, 74, who told her son: ‘That’s not funny’, and added several ‘angry-face’ emojis.
