£85,000 parking spot, sunroof vital

FINDING a place to park in the capital is usually a challenge. But if you’re forking out £85,000 for a garage space in one of London’s most exclusive spots, you’d hope for at least enough room to open the driver’s door.

This snug space near Harrods in Knightsbri­dge, advertised on Rightmove, is only 6ft 7in wide, however. One viewer quipped online that the spot was ‘sunroof-exit only’.

The vehicle here is thought to be a 1969 lefthand-drive Ford Mustang. And there may be a little get-out for those feeling trapped — there’s a gap in the wall just visible to the right in the main picture which a driver might just squeeze into. But as for keeping your car scratch-free...
