THINGS ARE LOOKING UP FOR EMILY

- By SAM TURNER

AIDAN O’BRIEN and ryan Moore have dominated the recent Classic trials but EMILY UPJOHN (York, 3.35) can strike back for the home contingent in the Tattersalls Musidora Stakes. The recent Sandown scorer must still overcome the might of Ballydoyle, with The Algarve in opposition and likely to improve for a step up in trip this afternoon, while Life Of dreams is also respected following a smooth newbury debut win. However, emily Upjohn appeared a filly going places on her seasonal bow when lengthening clear of some useful rivals in the hands of Frankie dettori to score by nearly 10 lengths in a smart time. if anything, she was a little too exuberant through the formative stages of that Sandown comeback, but that could just have been freshness on her return to the track and she is taken to consolidate her position towards the head of the Oaks betting with victory on the Knavesmire this afternoon.
