Passport problems?
I’VE phoned the Passport Office at least 60 times over the past few days. When I eventually get through to the robot, I’m told my call will be answered in minutes – but it isn’t.
If I call at 8am, the recorded message states the firm is experiencing a high volume of calls and then I am cut off.
My passport application was posted on January 22. When I chased it up, I was told it had been lost, so I had to re-send all the documents. Since then, silence.
I don’t want to lose my holiday for the third year running.

ON APRIL 4, I renewed a document online with the DVLA. It was delivered on Monday – just five days later, including a weekend.
When I renewed my passport online, it arrived two weeks later. That’s what I call good service.
