THERE was a time when I thought devolution could be a good thing for Scotland. Then the SNP got its hands on the levers of power.

Such is the Nationalis­ts’ shoddy, pathetic incompeten­ce there have now been more inquiries, investigat­ions and cover-ups from Nicola Sturgeon than successful­ly implemente­d policies and decisions.

Scotland is lumbered with a secretive, do-nothing, say-nothing government not worthy of the name. The sooner Sturgeon and her party are removed from power the better it will be for Scotland. PHIL JOHNSON, Bishopton, Renfrewshi­re.
