Costly cover story

NICOLA Sturgeon’s trip to the US to talk about global warming was, as I suspected, an expensive cover to talk about an independent Scotland, with a strong relationship with the UK and membership of the EU and Nato.

She is so obsessed with independence she fails to declare that the base at Faslane would have to go, which would mean a huge loss of jobs and the royal air Force based in Scotland comes under the UK.

The First Minister talks as if it’s just a formality to do all those things. according to her she has an excuse for everything that goes wrong and she will set up a committee to look into it – but nothing is ever heard.

She needs to get her feet on the ground and sort out the cost of living crisis and support the NHS.
