Break from reality

-

GREAT to see Nicola Sturgeon has the time to swan around Washington DC getting snapped shaking hands with Nancy Pelosi.

Interesting to hear that an independent Scotland would gain EU and Nato membership and contribute to the collective security of its neighbours and allies. So that’s the rest of the UK ignored then.

Can Sturgeon clarify how Scotland could assist with EU or Nato security? We are unable to build ships, don’t have an army, or air force. We used to hear that an independent Scotland would expect to receive a proportion of the UK’s armed forces if/when it achieved its sole purpose of tearing apart the UK.

They also said that Scotland would expect a proportional cut of the wealth of the UK.

does Sturgeon now realise that if she and her followers achieved their aim in breaking up the UK, she, or Scotland, could be lumbered with a proportion of the UK’s debt? I doubt if any of the SNP’s boffins have ever taken that into account.

Forget the £204million and counting for the unseaworthy ferries, the astronomic amount promised to gupta, the lawsuits for care home deaths etc. If Scotland wasn’t already neck deep in financial guano, independence would ensure it.

But, hey Nicola, enjoy the sightseeing and do us all a big favour and don’t come back.
