Time for self help

-

THE younger generation have never lived through inflation and constantly shout about the ‘government’ needing to do something.

How about they, themselves, do something to help. Cut out expensive hair extensions – your natural hair looks better – stop having your nails done and getting tattoos. That alone will cut your outgoings. Learn to cook from scratch instead of buying takeaways.

Us oldies have lived through inflation and dug in, got on with it and have come out the other end without whingeing and moaning constantly about how bad life is. Live with 15 per cent interest rates for your mortgage, as we have done.

Please, give us a rest from your constant ‘poor me’ diatribe. The world doesn’t owe you a living so get off your backsides and ‘do something’.
