How can I stop my dry under-eyes from going crepey?

Anti-agers no one but you need know about

QI AM perimenopausal and I can see my undereyes becoming drier and crepier every day. Eye creams don’t seem to cut it any more. What clinical treatments make enough of a difference to be worth the money?

THERE comes a time when all the creams and serums in the world can’t stop the super-thin skin under your eyes from dehydrating.

This is when injecting moisture and moistureboosting ingredients locally makes a big difference.

‘It means these actives get locked into the skin layer longterm, where they’re going to bio-stimulate cell regeneration,’ says London skin therapist Debbie Thomas. Her DNA Nanobio Revive Treatment (£195, dthomas.com) uses three tiny, 0.6mm syringes to inject a cocktail of amino acids and vitamins into your upper and lower lids.

It does sting a little and you can end up with tiny bubbles around your eyes and potentially swollen under-eye skin for a few days as the fluid slowly absorbs. But afterwards, your skin will be more hydrated.

Three initial treatments are recommended, plus top-ups every six to 12 weeks to ensure your under-eyes continue to become brighter and less crepey.

It’s also known as the Fillmed Nanosoft eye treatment, and is available at salons nationwide.
