Don’t chase off Bradley!
WHAT a relief that Bradley Walsh and The Chase are due back in their usual 5pm slot today after disappearing from our screens all last week. I was so disappointed the show was replaced by another TV quiz, the dire Lingo. Apparently, it was because The Chase’s spin-off series, Beat The Chasers, was being aired at 9pm and ITV didn’t want to screen similar shows on the same days. I don’t think you can compare the two. Beat The Chasers is muddled, disjointed and a conveyor belt of hopeful contestants you hardly get to know. Some critics claim The Chase’s presenter is over-exposed and I have to agree I could do without the travel series Bradley Walsh & Son: Breaking Dad. But when it comes to a TV quiz, Bradley is top of his game.
