Lloyd can light the way for Scotland
THE Scotland women’s sevens team has a long way to go to challenge for titles but in rhona Lloyd they have a real star. The left winger, who has played 38 times for the 15-a-side team, was the standout player for Scotland as they finished ninth in their first appearance at the HSBC sevens tournament in Toulouse. She scored a fantastic hat-trick against South Africa and got one in the win over England. The more the Scotland women’s team play on the sevens circuit, especially with Lloyd in their team, the better they will become.
