Clarkson’s girl weds, as dad gets a bit soppy!

IT’S always best to avoid getting into Jeremy Clarkson’s bad books, as the BBC producer he punched for failing to provide him with a hot dinner can attest.

So I’m pleased to hear he’s a fan of his new son-in-law, Alex Andrew, 29, an Irish publicist who married his daughter, Emily, 27, in Oxfordshire at the weekend. ‘Fathers, I cannot begin to describe how wonderful it is when your daughter gets married to someone you like,’ gushes the petrolhead, 62. ‘I am being very unmanly about this weekend. It was just sublime. I have never been happier.’
