Celtic tie up Maeda deal

DAIZEN MAEDA has officially completed his permanent transfer to Celtic from Yokohama F Marinos. The Japanese forward had initially moved to Glasgow on loan in January, but the deal included a clause which obligated Celtic to buy the player. That agreement has now been fulfilled and Maeda joins the Scottish champions on a long-term deal after a productive few months. A versatile attacker who was deployed in various roles across the forward line, Maeda contributed eight goals and five assists as Ange Postecoglou’s side motored to the title.
