Kirby keeps a grip on her cocktail

HER unerring portrayal of the Queen’s wayward, frequently thirsty, younger sister, Princess Margaret, shot her to stardom in The Crown, for which she won a Best Supporting Actress Bafta.

So it was fitting that Vanessa Kirby looked so effortlessly at ease as she enjoyed a night out with friends in Notting Hill — Martini cocktail in hand.

The privately educated Londoner, 34, did not, on this occasion, seem to single out any of her companions for her undivided attention.

That wasn’t the case last month when she and Christopher Abbott, her co-star in romantic drama The World To Come, chatted intently outside a bar in Soho.

Kirby was previously entangled with Callum Turner, with whom she starred in 2014’s Queen And Country. They parted two years ago, blaming hectic schedules.
