Record prize pot of £40m

TOTAL prize money at this year’s Wimbledon will be a record £40. million.

The pot is an 11 per cent rise on 2021, which was played in front of reduced crowds because of Covid, and 5.4 per cent up on the last regular tournament in 2019.

Singles champions will win £2million each, down from £2. 5million in 2019.
