TAYLOR OUT AS SCOUT

-

ENGLAND will step up their search for a national selector for both red and white ball cricket after James Taylor stepped down yesterday as chief scout. The former England batsman, forced to retire in 2016 with a heart condition, was a selector under Ed Smith before becoming chief scout last year. It is a role likely to now become redundant with Ian Bell a leading contender for the new red-ball role.
