EMIRATES ADDS STANSTED
EMIRATES will restart its route between Stansted and Dubai on August 1. By October it plans to run 110 flights a week from seven UK airports including a twice daily A380 ‘superjumbo’ service from Gatwick and Manchester (emirates.com).
NEW YORK FOR LESS
NORSE Atlantic will start daily flights from Gatwick to New York JFK on August 12 from £255 return (flynorse.com).
SOUTH AFRICAN SUN
VIRGIN Atlantic will offer direct daily flights between Heathrow and Cape Town from November to March next year with fares from £711 (virginatlantic.com).
EXTRA BIRMINGHAM JOURNEYS
RYANAIR will add five routes from Birmingham this winter, including to the Danish city of Billund — known for its Legoland theme park (ryanair.com, legoland.dk).
