Posh: I’m terrif ied that Harper will face social media cruelty

POSING in black lace, Victoria Beckham looks fearless when it comes to scrutiny of her looks.

But the former Spice Girl has said she is horrified by the ‘cruel’ abuse her ten-year-old daughter could face when she joins social media.

The fashion designer, 48, said it is ‘terrifying’ to think that her youngest child, Harper, could be targeted over her appearance.

She told Vogue Australia: ‘Harper isn’t on social media, so we don’t have to worry about that just yet. But seeing how cruel people can be, yes it really does [concern me].

‘She’s at that age where her body is going to start changing, but it’s about making sure that we communicate a lot as a family and she surrounds herself with nice friends. But it is quite terrifying, I can’t lie.’

Posh Spice Mrs Beckham, who posed for the magazine’s cover in a plunging white dress and black puffer coat, also joked that Harper had mocked her ‘unacceptable’ 90s fashion.

She added: ‘[Harper’s] not one of these kids who are going out with a full face of make-up and a crop top.

‘She actually said to me recently, “Mummy, I’ve seen some pictures of you when you were in the Spice Girls and your skirts were just unacceptable. They were just too short”. I said, “Are you never going to wear skirts like that?” She said, “Absolutely not.”’

The mother of four – whose hits with the band include Stop and Wannabe – also has sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz with husband David Beckham.
