FEELGOOD comedy drama following smalltown choirmistress Maybelline (Jacki Weaver, pictured) as she hotfoots it to San Francisco to the drag club owned by her late son. Opening Pandora’s Box (that’s the name of the club), Maybelline discovers that she’s the new owner and, with her son’s partner (Adrian Grenier) and single mum best friend (Lucy Liu), conservative Maybelline finds love and acceptance, while her choir skills lift the acts into another league.
