MEGGINSON GIVES COVE IDEAL START

TWO-GOAL Mitch Megginson was the hero for Cove Rangers as they began life in the Championship with a rousing 2-0 home victory over Raith Rovers. The ex-Aberdeen striker opened the scoring after just eight minutes for last season’s League One winners before doubling their advantage in the 50th minute.
