LEAGUE TWO
BONNYRIGG ROSE couldn’t have got off to a better start as they celebrated their first game in the senior set-up with a 2-0 home win over Forfar. The team who ascended through the pyramid set-up saw Kevin Smith’s header put them in front just before the hour mark. Four minutes from the end, Scott Gray sealed an openingday victory for the former Lowland League side with a breathtaking solo run and finish. Ecstatic Bonnyrigg manager Robbie Horn said: ‘I am just delighted for the committee, supporters and the community.’
