Musk fathered twins with a senior exec ‘through IVF’

-

ELON Musk fathered twins with a top exec at one of his companies through IVF, it has been reported.

It emerged earlier this year the world’s richest man had the children with Shivon Zilis, 36, a director at brain-implant technology firm Neuralink, in November.

Miss Zilis has told colleagues she was not involved romantically with Musk, 51, and conceived through IVF, Reuters reported.

The birth of the children would have been just weeks before Mr Musk welcomed his second child with his then girlfriend, singer Grimes.

The Tesla founder and Miss Zilis filed a petition in April to change the twins’ names to ‘have their father’s last name and contain their mother’s last name as part of their middle name,’ according to the court documents.

Miss Zilis, who was born in Ontario, Canada and studied at Yale, met Musk through OpenAI, the artificial-intelligence research non-profit company he cofounded in 2015, Insider reported.

That year she was on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in the venture-capital category and worked at Tesla in 2017.

Neuralink’s employee handbook prohibits relationships between staff in a direct supervisory relationship to avoid any conflicts of interest.

Mr Musk is known to have nine children: Two with Grimes and another five with his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine Musk.

His sprawling personal life includes three marriages and three divorces, including two of each with the same woman.

Musk and Grimes’ second child Exa Dark Siderael, who goes by Y, was born via a surrogate in December. They have another child named X AE A-Xii.

Neither Miss Zilis nor Mr Musk responded to requests for comment.
