LEAGUE TWO
DUMBARTON’S 0-0 draw at Forfar allowed Stirling Albion to move within five points of Stevie Farrell’s league leaders. The Binos secured their third consecutive victory with a 2-1 success over East Fife at Bayview. Robert Thomson fired home after just six minutes for Darren Young’s side, only for Alan Trouten to equalise from the penalty spot for the home team. But Dale Carrick emerged on the stroke of half-time to score the winner for Stirling.
