Post strikes called off for two weeks

STRIKES by Royal Mail workers planned for the next two weeks will not go ahead after a legal challenge by the company.

But the Communication Workers Union (CWU), which is involved in a long-running dispute over pay and conditions, said that strikes will resume on November 12.

Royal Mail, which said it will resume talks with CWU today, said: ‘We will continue to do all we can to keep business, companies and the country connected.’
