No family’s perfect says the newest Beckham
RUMOURS of a rift with her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham have simmered for months.
But Nicola Peltz’s attempts to deny a feud seem likely only to fuel the media gossip mill.
The actress, who married Brooklyn Beckham in April, appeared to admit there were tensions.
Miss Peltz, 27, questioned the use of the word ‘feud’ before conceding to the Sunday Times Style magazine: ‘I mean, maybe they picked up on something? And now they’re labelling it feud? No family is perfect! I don’t pay attention to all of it... If I did, I would go crazy.’
She also dismissed allegations of a falling-out over the dress she wore for her wedding to
Brooklyn, 23. Miss Peltz revealed that she did not wear a design by the former Posh Spice she had ‘really wanted to wear’ because it could not be made in time.
‘It makes me sad when I read things that people say I was never planning on wearing it,’ said Miss Peltz, who instead wore a Valentino couture dress.
She failed to mention her famous father-in-law David by name in the interview, referring to him as ‘Brooklyn’s dad’.
